Birghton to move for ex-Aston Villa loan defender

The Champions League and EFL play-off finals will conclude the English football season this weekend as the rest of the Premier League begin their summer transfer business.

Brighton are eyeing a Manchester United defender who was recently loaned out to Italian Serie A side Napoli.

The Red Devils are also reportedly preparing a ‘final push’ to sign a Wolves striker while Champions League finalists Liverpool could lose one of their star players this summer as Bayern Munich show interest.

Leeds United are preparing to take their first steps into the transfer market, starting with a former Newcastle United and Watford loanee who struggled to buy time at Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Jesse Marsch’s side are also keen on a Derby County star but are set to face serious competition from Southampton and Bournemouth, to name a few.

Newcastle United are linked with a move for a Manchester United stopper and are currently seen as the ‘frontrunners’ for his signature while a current Toon Army favorite could be set to leave St James’ Park with Everton and Fulahm who would both be enthusiastic.

Elsewhere, the Toffess are joined by West Ham in considering a move for a Burnley striker.

Finally, Aston Villa could sign another big name as Steven Gerrard eyes a reunion with another of his former Anfield teammates.
