A popular downtown New York restaurant has cooked up something fun to support a great cause!

Limp Lizard Bar & Grill on Onondaga Boulevard. in Syracuse hosts what they call Flip The House Charity Evening. Restaurant staff will change places for the evening. The cooks will be the servers, and the servers will work in the kitchen.

Nick Ford, a partner at Limp Lizard, says the idea was developed while he was having dinner with friends.

“We came up with a great team building idea on how I could get kitchen staff and waiters to see what other people are going through,” he says. “And then we’re like yes, that’s a good idea for a charity party.”

“Cuse Pit Crew is an advocacy group for misunderstood races,” says Natalie Martin of the organization. “A lot of people think we are a refuge, which we weren’t. We do human education, awareness, community involvement.
