Sydney Learning Platform Provider Evergreen Digital Has Acquired – Cloud – Learning & Development – Distribution
Distributor of learning management platforms and Sydney-based workplace consultancy Evergreen Digital have been acquired by platform provider, Danish company LMS365.
Evergreen Digital is the LMS365 distributor in Australia and New Zealand and the fastest growing vendor partner in both countries. It also operates in Singapore.
Clients of the Sydney company include Youi, Rail Projects Victoria, the charity Host International and Rural Financial Counseling Services New South Wales.
LMS365 claims to offer the only learning management platform integrated directly into Microsoft 365 and Teams. Its competitors include Absorb LMS Software, Adobe LMS, Blackboard Inc., Canvas LMS and Oracle, which provide solutions used in Australian schools and businesses.
The Danish company has grown fivefold in the United States since 2020 and doubled its revenue in the United States and doubled its revenue in German-speaking countries in Europe after acquiring operations in Germany last year.
“Learning management is a huge global market, expected to reach $150 billion by 2028,” said LMS365 CEO Rasmus Holst. “Attracting and retaining talent is more important than ever, and the challenges we all face – educating our users and making our employees better – are the same all over the world.
“Our ambition is to be a global LMS leader on a truly global platform like Microsoft Teams. We have seen substantial adoption and growth in the APAC market over the past year; we are seizing an opportunity and plan to move that market to an even bigger level,” Holst said.
The acquisition will allow Evergreen Digital to offer customers in the greater Asia-Pacific region “in the time zone” support from Australia and the Philippines, said LMS365 chief executive Paul Scott.
Henrik Jeberg, Chief Strategy Officer of LMS365, said: “In terms of technical support, we now have the ability to cover 24 time zones instead of 16. This is a fantastic starting point for our expansion into the rest of Asia-Pacific. This acquisition firmly establishes LMS365 as a global company.
