Volunteers needed to help with Yorkshire Three Peaks charity event
A CHARITY is looking for volunteers to help with a Yorkshire Three Peaks fundraising walk.
More than 1,000 people are expected to attend the British Heart Foundation event on the weekend of July 17-18.
A range of volunteer roles and teams are available, with tasks such as helping with setup, providing information and refreshments to participants, and awarding medals.
Training and support will be offered and Covid security measures put in place.
Tracey Crich, Head of Volunteering at the British Heart Foundation, said: “Our events would not be successful without the hard work and dedication of our valued volunteers. We urgently need more to sign up and help with the Yorkshire Three Peaks.
“Volunteering is open to people from all walks of life and is both exciting and rewarding. Not only can you meet new people, but you can also develop new skills and gain experience in events.
“We ask all those who have time to spare on July 17/18 to please contact us as soon as possible, as your generous support will make such a difference.”
