The 20-year-old is considered one of the Moyes DavidThe main goals this summer, with the Scotsman looking to add a centre-forward to his ranks to provide competition for Michael Antonio.
The Hammers have reportedly tabled a £30m bid with Chelsea for Broja, which includes an initial payment of £25m plus a further £5m in bonuses.
However, the Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuché has publicly stated that he has no intention of selling the Albania international and wants to see how he performs in pre-season before making a final decision on his future.
According to Daily mailWest Ham accept Chelsea’s current stance on Broja and are now ready to accept the striker on a season-long loan deal with a potential option to sign him permanently next summer.
Broja enjoyed a successful loan spell with Southampton last season, scoring nine goals in 38 appearances in all tournaments, and he had previously impressed on loan with Dutch side Vitesse.
The striker only made one senior appearance for Chelsea, however, replacing a four-minute cameo against Everton back in March 2020.
Even though Broja put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge last summer, keeping him at the club until June 2026, his future with the Blues remains uncertain.
Broja’s mother has previously said regular first-team football is a priority for her son next season, which Moyes could provide for the striker should he decide to join West Ham.
The Hammers could potentially face competition from a number of other European clubs for the signing of Broja, including Everton, Newcastle UnitedSouthampton and Serie A outfit Naples.
West Ham have also identified Sassuolo scorer Gianluca Scamacca as a possible target, with the CEO of the Italian club Giovanni Carnevali confirming the East Londoners have made an offer of €40m (£34m) plus add-ons for the 23-year-old.
Meanwhile, the Hammers have also reportedly lodged a bid of €38m (£32.3m) plus add-ons for Lille Midfielder Amadou Onanawith the French club ‘seriously considering’ the offer after previously rejecting two offers from the Premier League side.
West Ham have already spent just over £50m on three new signings this summer, with the centre-back Nayef Aguerdguardian Alphonse Areole and midfield Flynn Downes all moving to the stadium in London.
